Death - Human -1991 - Genre : Death Metal
Death est le groupe qui a donné son nom au genre et rien que pour cette raison cela en fait un incontournable de la scène métal.
C'est en 1983 que Chuck Schuldiner créé Death, qui deviendra l'initiateur d'un nouveau genre dans la grande famille du hard-rock ; le Death-Metal.
Guitariste doté d'une dexterité et d'un talent de composition saisissant, Chuck Schuldiner saura s'entourer de bons musiciens pour mener a bien son projet de groupe.
Il va alors révolutionner l'hunivers du métal avec un chant
agressif sortie d'outre-tombe et des compositions complexes et très
techniques jamais vue a l'époque.
Avec l'album "Human",
le groupe passe a la vitesse supèrieure avec des titres fabuleux, très
travaillés, alambiqués voir progressifs, avec des mélodies
mélancoliques superbes et des solos d'anthologie comme sur "Secret Face". Et ce n'est que le début puisque les albums qui suivront continueront dans cette voie, inscrivant a jamais Death dans l'histoire du hard-rock.
Malheureusement, Chuck nous quitta trop tot en décembre 2001, emporté par une tumeur cérébrale qui nous prive de son talent.
Tout amateur de Death-metal digne de ce nom se doit d'avoir au moins un album de Death dans sa collection.
